"Pray
for those who persecute you, So that you may be children of your Father in
Heaven" (Mat 5:44, 45). I see a great schism in our Christendom. It is
reminding me of crusades during 11-14th centuries. People of God are asking
/fighting /demanding for justice. As minorities, we have every right to ask and
demand. But St. Paul though he was a ROMAN (citizenship) had undergone
imprisonments, floggings, often near to death, lashes, beaten with rods,
stoning, shipwrecked, adrift, danger from bandits-own people-GENTILES-false
brothers and sisters, hungry, thirsty, and health reasons. In spite of all
these hardships he made a bold statement "FOR WHENEVER I AM WEAK, THEN I
AM STRONG." Where are we going? How we are going to achieve justice? How
are we going to build the kingdom of God on Earth? How are we going to love our
enemies? How can we claim that we are children of the most high? Please do not
settle for cheap grace. HIS GRACE (costly) IS SUFFICIENT FOR US.
