O God of Lamech. We know very less of him. He was a mysterious figure in Genesis: 4 recorded as a polygamist, killer, wild man and the poet of “SONG OF THE SWORD” (Gen 18:21-22). Bible did not record whom he killed and the reason behind it.  But we can learn something from his life. In Gen 5:30b he said “Out of the ground that the Lord has cursed this one (Noah) shall bring us relief from our work and from the toil of our hands.” He was the daddy of Noah. Parents always expect great things from their children. It is Lamech’s hope that Noah shall bring relief. He lived for 595 years after the birth of Noah. May be he confessed of his guilt, pleaded with God and asked favour on his son. Bible says, “Noah found favour in the sight of the Lord” (Gen 6:8). Dear parents, let us ask God to bless our children, pour out His choicest blessings, and to give uncommon favour. And know that your Hopes will never be cut off.

"Pray for those who persecute you, So that you may be children of your Father in Heaven" (Mat 5:44, 45). I see a great schism in our Christendom. It is reminding me of crusades during 11-14th centuries. People of God are asking /fighting /demanding for justice. As minorities, we have every right to ask and demand. But St. Paul though he was a ROMAN (citizenship) had undergone imprisonments, floggings, often near to death, lashes, beaten with rods, stoning, shipwrecked, adrift, danger from bandits-own people-GENTILES-false brothers and sisters, hungry, thirsty, and health reasons. In spite of all these hardships he made a bold statement "FOR WHENEVER I AM WEAK, THEN I AM STRONG." Where are we going? How we are going to achieve justice? How are we going to build the kingdom of God on Earth? How are we going to love our enemies? How can we claim that we are children of the most high? Please do not settle for cheap grace. HIS GRACE (costly) IS SUFFICIENT FOR US.

"Drop the matter before a dispute breaks out" Pro 17:14. Persecution is not a new concept, phenomenon, or ideology. It started when Cain killed Abel. I would say Gospel and persecution are the two sides of a coin. When Stephen gave speech to counsel was filled with Holy Spirit saw the Glory of God but people became enraged. We are hearing anti persecution cell, toll free number for anti-persecution, justice slogans, agitations, and awareness about safeguarding Christianity and so on... Jesus taught us “love your enemy and turn your cheek." I don’t think that we all need these anti persecution strategies, laws, Panels and committees. It’s just a matter of perseverance and endurance. Dear God, help us to bear the witness of love even in the time of persecution. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

God heard the prayers of Israelites and started doing His job through a long process in releasing Israelites from captivity. God sent Moses and Aaron to Pharaoh with admonitions and at the same time, he hardens Pharaohs heart. Is it a dualistic role of God? If so, why? I would say if Pharaoh Releases Israelites in the first plague itself, Moses and Aaron might have underestimated the power of God. God demonstrated His mighty power over nature and over His creation. Thus, showing HIS ALMIGHTY POWER TO THE NEWLY APPOINTED LEADERS. If we get victory in every aspect of our life in a common way, there is nothing special about it, but when we get success in an uncommon way that is special and plan of God. You are not an ordinary person and you are very special to God. Your victory is on the way. Stand still and see the power of Almighty God in your life.

Thank you, God for this creation. Bible is the source of Christian morality. Nevertheless, I do not think that we can see God only through these 66 books alone. Apostles and Early Christians relied on tradition (Communion) and experiences (Proclamation of Crucified Jesus) in building their faith. Interestingly there was no written canon, sanctioned and authoritative scriptures, yet they grew rapidly and shook the world. After inspired Word of God, we need to consider tradition as well as our experiences in articulating our faith.

In the Bible, Rahab a harlot lied to the king and king’s messengers by saying 'I DID NOT KNOW.' but, in the book of Hebrews and book of James she was mentioned and highly regarded as 'BY FAITH & JUSTIFIED BY WORKS.' It is dictated and normative Christian morality. In our life if we tell lie people call you as LIAR. Sometimes you will become or people make you a scapegoat and black sheep though you are not. Do not worry our God is an Omni- reasoned God, so if you are in this chaos, sing Hallelujah. Because behind this, there are 10,000 reasons and Plans to lift you up. You are the Child of God.

Our God is Eco- centric God. Genesis 1 narrative is very clear that God is against exploiting nature especially trees. God gave dominion over fish, birds, cattle, wild animals and every creeping thing that creeps. Interestingly trees are missing in the list. So, it is evident that God gave us trees in order to maintain biodiversity. Friends’ churches are lackadaisical in ecological teachings. Please preserve trees. Till date I have planted 16 saplings and will go on and on... what is your part? God is still in the process of creation. Join hands in Safeguarding nature.

Genesis 1 story is not a creation account but it is the recreation account. Interestingly, God gave dominion over fish, birds and animals only but not on plants and trees. It is meant for food. Vegetation With seed is for humans and without seed is for animals. Metaphor of the seed is life. God is preserving us with life. Therefore, we should live a life worthy, to give life-giving words, life giving deeds, life giving thoughts, life giving mentality. When people see you, reach you, find you, they should find life in you. Let us be not in sterile mode. You are a blessing.

O God of Malachi. Your Word says "How happy is the one whom God reproves; therefore do not despise the discipline of the Almighty (Job 5:17). Malachi was very harsh in his prophetic word. He used very harsh words and sentences like "I will send curse on you, I will curse your blessings, and I will rebuke your offspring and spread dung on your faces, the dung of your offerings (Mal 2:3). O God, thank you for using Malachi during surgical strikes on people who despised your name, intermarriages and about judgement day. We see Malachi reproving people after the exilic period. People during exile walked with God, but when released from captivity they neglected God. "I HELD OUT MY HANDS ALL DAY LONG TO A REBELLIOUS PEOPLE... (Isaiah 65:2). Dear God, help us not to obey only during captivity but also to seek your will, your authority, and obedience in every aspect of our life. Help us not to despise your discipline. Your discipline will refine us like Gold and Silver. I want to be like Gold and Silver. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Joseph. Your scripture says "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it (Pro 3:27). Joseph was a man of prayer, noble man, righteous man, chief, man of wisdom, great interpreter, counsellor, faithful, one in whom the Spirit of God dwells and BROTHERS KEEPER. Joseph brothers did harm to Joseph by selling him to ishmaelites (Gen 37:25-26). Eventually God made Joseph as overseer / prime minister (Gen 41:40-42). After the death of Jacob, Joseph's brothers said, " WHAT IF JOSEPH STILL BEARS A GRUDGE AGAINST US AND PAYS US BACK IN FULL FOR ALL THE WRONG THAT WE DID TO HIM(Gen 50:15). But Joseph wept out of love & compassion. He provided and said, do not fear, it is good for me, he reassured and spoke kindly to them (Gen 50:18-21). Dear God, we confess that many times we are not taking care of our siblings. We are displeasing them, rejecting them, showing envy, gossiping on them, not helping them, not caring for them, mocking on them, exhibiting their faults and shortcomings, not contacting them, not listening to them, not replying them, in fact we are hating them. O God of love and mercy, give us the same heart like Joseph who did not know what is TIT FOR TAT and BLOW FOR BLOW attitude Your Word says "Do not say, I will do to others as they have done to me; I will pay them back for what they have done (Pro 24:29). Forgiveness leads to blessings. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of David. Your scripture says "Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall (Pro 16:18). King David was a mighty warrior on Earth, great king, prophet, Gods anointed, chosen by God and the man after Gods own heart. But Ahithophel thought that David was weary and discouraged. He thought that he could throw him in panic and strike down (2 Sam 17: 2-3). Ahithophel underestimated the power of Gods people. David prayed to turn Ahithophel counsel into foolishness (2 Sam 15:31). God heard David's prayer and turned ahithophel plan into foolishness (Then Hushai said to Absalom "This time the counsel that Ahithophel has given is not good - 2 Sam 17:7). O God who answer our prayers. Our afflictions are many, we are filled with troubles, surrounded by confusion, sickness, calamities, decrease, lack, broken relationships, and our enemies are trying to condemn us, discourage us and so on... However, we Pray that your WORD is enough for us coz your Word says, "Righteous are as bold as lion." We are more than conquerors. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of David. Your Word says "Do not call conspiracy all that this people calls conspiracy, and do not fear what it fears, or be in dread"(Isaiah 8:12).Ahithophel was one of the David's counsellor who was well known for his Sagacity (2 Sam 15:12). Ahithophel conspired against David along with Absalom for usurping. O God the giver of wisdom, you gave Ahithophel the spirit of oracles (David also used to esteem- 2 Sam 16:23) but he used his wisdom and sagacity for seizure. He counselled Absalom on a plot to defeat David (2 Sam 16:15-23). Nevertheless, David, man of your own heart PRAYED FOR AHITHOPHEL "O Lord I Pray you, turn the counsel of Ahithophel into foolishness" (2 Sam 15:31). Knowing the conspiracy, instead of surgical attacks on the counsel, David showed HIS NATURE BY PRAYING FOR HIS ENEMIES. Dear God several times , as humans we show our nature of retaliation by showing impudent face to our enemies, not responding to communication, hindering, gossiping, no reconciliation, exhibiting enemies short comings and failures and so on... We pray, that you give us the same nature of David to pray for our enemies that ultimately gives us the victory. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Nehemiah. Your scripture says in Proverbs 19:2 "Desire without knowledge is not good, and one who moves too hurriedly misses the way." In the book of Nehemiah, Nehemiah was not assigned to rebuild the walls but out of his concern (Neh 2:3) he started initiating the work with a long intercessory prayer (Neh 1:4-11). Thank you O God, for speaking to us through the life of Nehemiah. Nehemiah started with prayer and ended up with prayer. Nehemiah was a man of action and thought. He did not hurriedly start rebuilding walls with prayer but HE INSPECTED THE WALLS THOROUGHLY AND THEN TOOK A DECISION TO RESTORE THE WALLS (Neh 2:11-17). Dear God, we believe that DESIRE WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE IS NOT GOOD. Many times, we are doing certain things with blind faith. We are witnessing churches without vision, Christian families without faith, Christian missions without knowledge & wisdom, Christian ministries without call and individuals without fear and concern towards FATHER`S HOUSE. Nehemiah though he was a man of faith and prayer, he framed the blue print to carry out the task. O God of wisdom and all understanding. Give us the same heart like Nehemiah to carry out our tasks in our daily life, family life, spiritual life and societal life, which leads to victory. In Jesus name, we pray.

O God of Prophet Amos. We thank you for the Golden Rule in scripture "In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; FOR THIS IS THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS (Matthew 7:12). Amos belongs to southern kingdom of Judah but he preached in the Northern kingdom. He made surgical strikes on Northern kingdom where people relegate poor and needy. He used idiomatic expressions like "COWS OF BASHAN" (Amos 4:1). His main prophetic theme was on social justice (Amos 2:6, 4:1, 5:7, 5:15, and 8:5). Dear God thank you for the visionary prophet who prophesied against elitist community. Dear God, give us the vision, meaning of mission and concerns for social justice. Every day we see transgender, Poor, widows, Orphans, exploited and rejected. We see disparity between rich and poor but we never think or act on behalf of them. O gracious God, give us the grace to do charity, strengthen us to strengthen the poor and weak, fill us with your spirit to stand for the rejected. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. A Song of Victory (Psalm 118) says "With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me? The Lord is on my side to help me; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me (118:6-7). Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were godly people and spiritually strong. When Nebuchadnezzar put them on fiery furnace coz of not bowing and worshipping Golden image, they replied to him "we have no need to present a defence.... Let Him deliver ... But even if He does not.... we will not serve your gods (Daniel 3:16-18). THAT IS SPIRITUAL MATURITY. Dear God, we believe that going to church, reading bible, attending church activities, involving in spiritual matters, membership in different Christian organisations, preaching , teaching, posts in social media, praying , pleading , theologising and so on... make us spiritual. O God of trio, the COURAGE to speak to god on earth (Nebuchadnezzar) "BUT EVEN IF HE DOES NOT" is spiritual strength, might and maturity. We humbly pray that you will give us the same courage like trio to show the world that we are not weak, but strengthen. Trio passed the test conducted by you. Help us to stay strong in our spirituality. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Caleb. Your scripture says in Psalm 45:7 "You Love righteousness and hate wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness beyond your companions." Thank you for teaching us through your sons and daughters. When Moses sent men (Leaders from 12 tribes) to spy on Canaan, the group spied and reported Moses with negative attitude saying THEY ARE STRONG, THEIR TOWNS ARE FORTIFIED, VERY LARGE, WE SAW ANAK and so on... (Numbers 13:28-29). But Caleb who knew that you promised Canaan (Numbers 13:1 "send them to spy out the land of Canaan ,WHICH I AM GIVING- PRESENT PARTICIPLE) gave positive report saying "CALEB QUIT THE PEOPLE, and said LET US GO UP AT ONCE AND OCCUPY IT, FOR WE ARE WELL ABLE TO OVERCOME" (Num 13:30). Thank you, Lord for giving positive attitude to Caleb to cross-big mountain. Dear God, we pray that you will give us the same kind of attitude towards our burdens, problems, illness, crisis, sickness, agony, turmoil, problems, hurdles, and obstacles fully trusting your promises. Though it is difficult, only Caleb out of 12 tribes had positive thinking because he trusted you. Thanking for giving us the same power to break all kinds of bondage. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Caleb Your scripture says "The God will make you the head, and not the tail; you shall be only at the top and not at the bottom..." (Deut 28:13). Dear God we thank you for the life of Caleb. Out of 15, 000,00 only two persons (Caleb & Joshua) entered the Promised Land. The criteria for selecting Caleb is Numbers 28:12 "Caleb followed unreservedly" and Deut 1:36 "Because of his complete fidelity to the Lord and of his unreservedly nature”. you blessed Caleb with Hebron- Joshua 14:13-15 (Hebron - A city, near to Jerusalem, Favourite home of Abraham, Levitical city, City of refuge, King David's official residence). We also notice that Caleb became the Head of Hebron city. Thank you, Lord for your promises. O God, We pray that you will give us the same heart of unlimited love towards you and give us the same faithfulness. Bless me to possess my portion, ordained by you. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Ezra. Your scripture says in James 5:16b "The Prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective. Thank you, God for Ezra's reforms in the pluralistic society (Ezra 9) by the power of prayer. Usually clergy teach, reprove and correct laity but in the book of Ezra, we see descendants of priests and Levites mixed up with gentiles and spoiled their seed (Ezra 10:18-24). Therefore, Ezra did not spare, did not compromise with their status and did not step back in his reforms. What we see is surgical strikes on CHOSEN FAMILIES (Ezra 10:5-8).  Dear God, we thank you for the life of Ezra, for his uncompromising nature in holiness and for his bold attitude to keep your precepts and for his never-ending endurance. O God of Ezra and Nehemiah Thank you for reminding us about like-mindedness through the scripture "be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind." Both Nehemiah and Ezra became leaders after exilic period. We see quarrel between St. Paul and Peter (Galatians 2:11-14) and separation of Paul and Barnabas (Acts 15:36-40), but scriptures did not record any enmity/quarrel/differences/misunderstanding/bias and so on between Ezra and Nehemiah. Both were contemporaries in rebuilding of wall and temple (Division of labor). The perfect example of BODY OF CHRIST IN O T. Nehemiah concentrated on Societal/political issues and Ezra focused on Religious reforms. O God of like-mindedness, we pray that you grant us the same kind of like-mindedness in our family, church, ministry, office, business, and relationships and so on... to carry out the work assigned to us. O God of Ezra. Your Word says "God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes me tread upon the heights" (Habakkuk 3:19). The strength of Ezra is your Word," FOR EZRA HAD SET HIS HEART TO STUDY THE LAW OF THE LORD AND TO DO IT" (Ezra 7:10). Dear God, Though Ezra was one of the exiles, you made him leader to lead second body of exiles from Babylon to Jerusalem. He was a teacher, skilled scribe, priest, Governor, theological scholar and a great leader of religious awakening movement. O God of separation, you separated light from the darkness but your people ( Priests & Levites) were not separated and were mixed up with Canaanites, Hittites,  Perizzites , Jebusites, Ammonites, Moabites, Egyptians and Amorites (Ezra 9:1-4) during their comfortable stay after exile. A small prayer by Ezra in chapter (9:5-15), changed the course of the people. People who were mixed up in such a way that they cannot be separated with the gentiles. Ezra by the power of your Word and his earnest prayers influenced church and society. We see people made a covenant to separate. Almighty God, we are not in a position to have an effect on church, society, neighbours, colleagues, relatives and friends. O God of Rebekah. Your Word says "All scriptures are inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Jacob received his blessings by tricking Esau. Their mother Rebekah played key role in deceiving. When Isaac restricts her (check) mother Rebekah of mocking, she replied "Let your curse be on me" (Gen 27:13). As prophesied by her own mouth she received curse in the form of distancing herself with his beloved son Isaac (Gen 27:43). After sending Isaac to her brother Laban in Haran, she never saw his children again. We see Rebekah last time in Gen 29:12. She lost her beloved son forever. Dear God as parents and humans, we are prone to choose illegal, unrighteous, unethical, immoral, unlawful and tricky ways of blessing to our children. Help us not to choose Rebekah's ideology to  bless children.. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Ishmael. Your scripture says in Psalm 112:2b "The generation of the upright will be blessed." You blessed offspring of Abraham (Ishmael) according to your promise "I will make a nation of him (Ishmael) because he is your offspring (Gen 17:20, 21:13). You were with him in the wilderness of Paran (Gen 21:20). Dear God, you taught Ishmael to live righteously, this is very much evident, as scriptures did not record anything negative about Ishmael. Though Ishmael and Hagar were sent away from Abraham and Sarah, Ishmael was never angry on Abraham. In fact, he attended the funeral of Abraham and buried along with Isaac in Machpelah (Gen 25:9). Dear God, in today’s context, we witness hostility between parents and children, brothers and sisters, husband and wife, pastor and body of Christ, boss and workers and so on. Ishmael sets a very good example to love parents by fulfilling his duty to bury his father. O God of forgiveness, help us to reconcile broken relationships in every area of life and help us to set an example to our offspring. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen

O God of Hagar, Your Word says "For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, Plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope" (Jer 29:11). Thank you for the hope you are giving us today. Hagar was a Slave girl from Egypt, she might have worshiped Egyptian Gods but during her wilderness experience she received promise from you through angel "I will so greatly multiply your offspring that they cannot be counted for multitude" (Gen 16: 10). When Hagar and Ishmael were sent away (Gen 21:8-20), they wandered in the wilderness of Beersheba (Gen 21:8-14). O God of hope, When water in the flask was dried, Hagar said "do not let me look on the death of the child" (Gen 21:16). Hagar sat at a distance of bow shot (60 yards). Though she said I could not look the death of my child, she did not leave the place. We notice that she had the faith in your promise as mentioned in chapter 16, she remembered your Word through the angel spoken. Several times, we omit the faith of Hagar. This time we acknowledge the mustard seed faith of Hagar. Grant us the same faith O master to shake the mountains a head in our journey. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

O God of Simeon and Levi. Your Word says "do not plan harm against your neighbour who lives trustingly beside you." When Dinah was seized by Shechem (Gen 34:2), her brothers became indignant, angry and couldn't bear the assault (Gen 34:7). Though Hamor and Shechem agreed to obey all the clauses, choices, religious, sanctions and conditions (Gen 34:8-13), Simeon and Levi deceived them. The one, who was angry on what must not happen in Israel, did even the worst thing in Israel (Gen 34:25-31). They killed all males, killed Hamor and Shechem, plundered the city, took their flocks, herds, donkeys, wealth, field and houses. O God of mercy, the ancestors of tribes of Israel, did what was evil. Your Word says "vengeance is mine" (Deut 32:35). However, hivites (Ungodly people) retreat, people of God leaves no retreat. O God of Samuel. Luke 10 speaks of "The mission of seventy." Your Word says "The Harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few" (Luke 10:2). Dear God you have appointed and sent 70/72 disciples after giving them strict instructions and intensive training (Luke 10:3-12). The result is return of seventy disciples with joy (Luke 10:17). Thank you for choosing us to carry on your mission. O master, you had appointed Samuel as judge over Israel (I Samuel 7:3-10) BUT NOT HIS SONS (I Sam 8:1) “Samuel made his sons judges over Israel." The result is civil unrest and disobedience, people started a movement asking for a King (I Sam 8:3-6). O God of caring, sharing and nurturing. We notice several churches, ministries, servants, missions, missionaries, ministers, leaders, deacons, laity, clergy are evolving but many are not from you. Many are becoming futile and degrading the heart of your kingdom. Many were shut and declined by people. Help us to discern your will and your CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP. Your Word says in Malachi 2:2 "If you will not listen, if you will not lay it to heart to give glory to my name, says the Lord of hosts, then I will send the curse on you and I will curse your blessings. Thank you Lord for choosing Saul as the first king of united Israel (I Sam 9:17) and filling him with your spirit (I Sam 10:6). O God of United Kingdom, we acknowledge the might of King Saul and for his Prophetic frenzy which made him prophet as well. As an Overseer, Prophet Samuel asked King Saul to wait for 7 days in order to offer sacrifice burnt offerings (I Sam 10:8), but in chapter 13, King Saul couldn't wait till Prophet Samuel comes and he offered sacrifices/burnt offerings in the place of Prophet Samuel which is not of his office (I Sam 13:8-13). Saul did foolish thing (I Sam 13:1) and did not kept the commandment of the Lord. The result of disobeying Gods commandment, ultimately led to fall of King Saul and God chose another man "A MAN AFTER HIS OWN HEART- David" ( I Sam 13:13b-14). O God of Lot. Your scripture says in Exodus 23:22 "But if you listen attentively to his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and a foe to your foes." Lot in the book of Genesis was also blessed by you (Gen 13:5). During the depravity of Sodom and Gomorrah, you have given a choice to flee to the hills (Gen 19:17), but Lot made wrong choice by choosing nearby city instead of choosing God chosen hills. At the end of the story Lot’s daughters sleep with him and he became the father of Moabites and Ammonites who were enemies of Israel. Dear God, wrong choice of Lot raised two generations who are not admitted to the assembly of the Lord (Deut 23:3). Thank you Lord for giving us choice in our lives. As humans we are prone to choose wrong things in our lives. Help us to obey your Word to choose hills rather than nearby places. O God of Sarah and Abraham. We thank you for your unfailing Love towards us. Though we fail you Word says "God (Jesus) never fails." Though Abraham received promises from you, he lied twice (Gen 12 and 20). God promised Abraham, that He will make him a great nation, will bless, make his name great (Gen 12:1-3). Though Abraham was a priest, prophet, king and called by God his words and deeds made him coward, "then they will kill me, but they will let you live, say you (Sarah) are my sister (Gen 12:12-13). Thank you Lord for intervening throughout the history. Though people fail, you never fail them. In Genesis 12 chapter we noticed that you intervened by afflicting Pharaoh (Gen 12:17). O Redeemer, several times, we doubt, feel insecure, show diffidence, and make our own plans to survive. But you will never leave us O master. You intervened directly in the lives of Abraham and Sarah. The Bible says you had delivered not only Israelites from Egypt , but also you had delivered Philistines from Caphtor and Arameans from Kir and for you Both Ethiopians and people of Israel are same (Amos 9:7). What an awesome God you are!!! Dear God, thank you for giving us confidence and hope that you will /can deliver anybody from anyplace, irrespective of our class , caste , race , region and religion. Deliver us O master from all sorts of evil and save us, because your Word says, I am as important as your chosen generation (Christians). In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Isaac. Your Word says "In this you rejoice, even if now for a little while you have had to suffer various trials, so that the genuineness of your faith is tested ..." ( I Peter 1:6-7).Thank you Lord for testing our faith by sending trials and tribulations. You sent Isaac as an alien in the land of Philistines (Genesis 26:2, 3).Philistines are not godly people, they are enemies of Israel and being an alien in the land of Philistines is not an ordinary thing. Isaac don't know about his future and with faith he lived in Gerar (Gen 26:6) fully trusting your Word (Gen 26:4-5) and obeying your will. O God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, sometimes you will send trials and tribulations in our life purposefully and you will ask us to go through unfavourable conditions (like Gerar). Help us to choose faith in you rather than questioning our plight. Though you sent unfavourable conditions to Isaac, he reaped a hundred fold blessings (Genesis 26:12) and he prospered more and more (Gen 26:13). Help us to live like Isaac with faith and to reap 100 fold blessings. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Job. Your Word says "Their mischief returns upon their own heads, and on their own heads their violence descends"(Psalm 7:16) Thank you for the prayer of David who pleaded for help against persecutors (Psalm 7). Job, in the book of Job was worried all the time about their family and used to offer burnt offerings every day. "It MAY be that my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts"(Job 1:5). THE BIBLE IS VERY CLEAR ABOUT WHAT HAD HAPPENED TO JOB. It says "Truly the thing that I fear comes upon me, and what I dread befalls me" (3:26). Dear God, Job predicted misfortune and the same thing happened to him as predicted. Bible says in Matthew 15:18 "What comes out of the mouth proceeds from heart, and this is what defines. This is the saying of Jesus. Dear God serval times we are predicting failure, loss, ill health, misery, misfortune, turmoil and mediocrity. Make us Lord to predict and speak uncommon success, uncommon favour and blessings because the bible says "Death and life are in the power of the tongue" (Pro 18:21). From now onwards I speak success , abundance, favour , health, finances, wealth ,restoration , reinforcement, expansion ,increase ,power, esteem , encouragement , promotion , super natural debt cancellation, new doors to be open and blessings and blessings and blessings in Jesus matchless name I pray. O God of Job. Your Word says "The blessing of the Lord makes rich, and he adds no sorrow to it" (Pro 10:22). Job in the book of job was not a priest, yet he offered burnt offerings (Job 1:5). He held the office of priestly tradition. Bible says in numbers 18:20, 24 priestly possession is not any materialistic things but YOU are their portion. In the case of Job he was a priest, yet rich (Job 1:2-3). Through job's story you are teaching us today. Your Word says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord rescues them from them all (Psalm 34:19). Dear God we all know that "PRAYER BRINGS VICTORY" you are also speaking us this day that PRAYING FOR FRIENDS MAKES RICH (IN HEBREW, RICH= ASHAR , which means "TO GROW") , "And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job when HE PRAYED for his friends; and the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10). Dear God you changed the system of priesthood to bless your people. Job possesses your blessings and grew in all realms. NOW, we pray for all my friends. Many are near to death, many lack your love, many are in dungeon, many are ill, many are not being forgiven, many don't know who you are, and many are in Sin. Grow me O God in love, patience, humility, sanctity, from backsliding, from grace to higher grace, love to more love, calling to higher calling and in your discipline. Thank you for your blessings in all realms. In Jesus name we pray. Amen Composed by: Manohar Pradeep (Servant of God).

O God of Judah. Your Word says in Colossians 4:2 "Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving." When enemies were approaching people of Judah (2Chr 20:1-2), People of Judah did exactly what they ought to do, because the meaning of Judah is PRAISE. "Judah stood before the Lord, with their little ones, their wives, and the children" FAMILY PRAYER (2 Chr 20:13). They started fighting their battle with prayer (2 Chr 20:5) and ended up with thanks giving (2 Chr 20:26-28). We also noticed that the result of FAMILY PRAYER IS "The fear of God came on all the kingdoms of the countries when they heard that the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel (2 Chr 20:29). Dear God you showcased the power of FAMILY PRAYER. It made people, not only making a vow but also fulfilling their vow by praising you. There is power in praying together. Because of the FAMILY PRAYER and FAMILY PRAISE your name has been glorified in all countries. Dear God, we confess that many a time we skipped FAMILY PRAYER due to several reasons and we are not in a position to estimate the power of FAMILY PRAYER. Today we are making a vow that we will do FAMILY PRAYER with the available members in the family without fail. By doing it we are sure that our battles be won and your name will be glorified in our neighbourhood. We are ought to praise and worship you. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem. You are the God who will neither slumber nor sleep. Your Word says "The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord" (Pro 21:31). When enemy from the east invaded people of God, the king was afraid and proclaimed fast throughout the Judah (2 Chr 20:1-4). After much fasting and praying Judah received prophecy that God is going to do battle on their behalf (2 Chr 20: 15-17). O God, as a humans our understanding of going to battle is with heavy armour and ammunition but Judah and Jerusalem went out into the wilderness of Tekoa not with sword or with any other armour but WITH PRAISING AND SINGING. "As they began to sing and praise, THE LORD SET AN AMBUSH AGAINST ENEMY (2 Chr 20:19-22). People of God went to fight with enemy not with weapons but with singing and worshipping. What an awesome God you are!!! Dear God, we pray that you give us the same kind of attitude, mind-set and perspective to fight our enemies, not with sword but with faith. You are speaking to us O master , that when we ought to fight our own battles all we need to do is singing , praising and worshipping. Rest you will take care. Help us to worship you even in the time of hurdles , burdens , obstacles , pain , loss , lost , valleys , unexplainable problems , failures, trials , tribulations and so on... Because you’re Word says MY GOD WILL DO MY BATTLE. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Jehoshaphat Thank you for making us being faithful to you. James 2:26 says "faith without deeds are dead. King Jehoshaphat was informed "A great multitude is coming against you" (2 Chr 20:2). Then Jehoshaphat Prayed "we are powerless, don't know what to do, BUT OUR EYES ARE ON YOU" (2 Chr 20:12b). Then you sent GOOD NEWS THROUGH A PROPHET." Your Word says "GO DOWN AGAINST THEM (2 Chr 20:16a). O Lord of Hosts, you sent GOOD NEWS as "GO" but you didn't say, stay, calm, and remain in peace and Stop. We know the end of story that you asked your people to "move forward" for their blessings (2 Chr 20:25). It took 3 days to reap their blessings. Dear God, in our lives , several times we hear BAD NEWS of I'll health, broken relationship, financial crisis , failures, abnormal reports, problems in Church, ministry ,job , school, college , work place and so on. Dear God, from now onwards we are "MOVING FORWARD," whatever the situation is, even we face multitudes , let the world stand opposite to us, we will not fear, BECAUSE OUR EYES ARE ON YOU." Thank you Lord for taking us through this black, heated and dark valley. We know that we are going to reap blessings. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Jahaziel (II Chr 20:14) Thank you Lord for your wonderful guidance through your servants. Your Word says "For by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counsellors there is victory" (Pro 24: 6). King Jehoshaphat was informed by messengers that multitude of enemies coming against you (II Chr 20:1, 2). Thank you for delivering Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem after their prayers (II Chr 20:5-13). Here We notice a Godly man in the middle of the assembly by name Jahaziel (II Chr 20:14) by whom you sent YOUR WORD "THIS BATTLE IS NOT FOR YOU TO FIGHT; TAKE YOUR POSITION, STAND STILL, AND SEE THE VICTORY OF THE LORD ON YOUR BEHALF..." Thank you God, for keeping wise, Godly counsellors and prophets like Jahaziel in the middle of your people for their common good. O Victorious Lord, help us to retrospect in whose assembly we are living? We also remember Psalm 1 as a standard for us in our day to day activities. Help us Lord to stay in the counsel of righteous counsellors through whom you will give victory to our broken relationships, finances, health, victory in trials and tribulations, turmoil, misunderstandings, marriages and so on... Thank you in advance for battling our battle and giving us victory. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Abram. Thank you for the initial relationship with Abram (humanity) in Gen 12 and for making us children of Abraham in faith. Abraham lived in a context where people used to marry between bro's and sisters (Gen 20:12). Though it is not wrong to possess possessions from Old Testament perspective, New Testament says in Matthew 6:19 "do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth." Thank you Jesus for your gracious teachings. In Gen 12:1 you said to Abram "Go, from your country and your kindred and your father’s house to the land that I will show you." Nahor and Milcah stayed behind but Abram took Lot (his brother's son) and all the possessions along with him (Gen 12:5). Dear God, thank you for blessing Abram and Lot with innumerable wealth (Gen 13:2, 5). But we see something strange happened in Gen 13:6 where they "could not live together" and there was strife between them (Gen 13:7) because of their possessions. So Abram and Lot separated (father and son). And we also notice Canaanites and Perizzites living in the land in the next verse. O God you are teaching something to us through this narrative. Let our heart be attentive to your teachings. Possession and wealth separated father and son relationship and the world (Canaanites and Perizzites = World) is watching two Godly men (Abram and Lot) fighting with each other. O master we need favour but not any kind of possessions. Let your BLOOD BE OUR ONLY POSSESSION. Your blood washes us, cleanses us and it will make us whole new creation. Thank you for your Son, Thank you for His nail pierced hand. Thank you for making me as your priority. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Amos. Thank you for choosing as your sons and daughters. When our Church became lackadaisical you have sent our beloved pastor to strengthen its call and to make disciples. When we are settling for cheap grace you have sending costly grace through different mediums. Your scriptures says "Chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith" (James 2:5). Thank you for choosing the poor and uneducated to perform your task. Amos (minor prophet) was neither prophet nor a prophet’s son. He was not educated and undergone training in any prophetic school. He was the contemporary of 3 Isaiah's (Major Prophet) who was well educated and trained. Thank you for using the two prophets (educated and uneducated) in the same time, to show the world that you can use anyone who are ready. Luxurious life by the rich, oppressing the poor, in justice, corruption, paganism and idolatry are not new concepts in present context but existed since Amos’ time. Though he was not a prophet your spirit stirred him up and made prophet to stand for social justice. Dear God, we confess that we are witnessing oppression, injustice, unrighteousness, corruption and all sorts of decline in spiritual standards prescribed by bible but we are not standing for social justice. Several times we are posting this and that in social media but when time comes we are not acting accordingly. Amos prophesied on behalf of poor and you promised restoration (Amos 9:11-15). O God. I am ready use me irrespective of my capabilities, capacities, calibre, skills, proficiency, qualities and qualifications. Give us the promise of restoration to my brothers & sisters through me. Thank you for using me as a carrier of your love. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

O God of Naaman's Servant. The Bible says “And we urge you beloved to admonish the idlers , encourage the faint hearted, help the weak, be patient with all of them." Thank you master for your encouraging scriptures, which makes us as leaders and hope givers. In the Bible many were given very less priority, few were side lined and few were neglected/rejected. Though we know very little about them and mentioned in single verse, they played a major role, impacted and made a path for accepting you as God and saviour. (2 Kings 5: 15). One such person is Naaman's servant (2 Kings 5: 13). Though Naaman was a Aramean and sun worshipper he accepted you as his God because of the Act of his small servant. We don't know whether he (servant) had a good relation with Naaman or not but he convinced Naaman by calling him as "Father" (2 Kings 5:13). Naaman servant influenced though he was subordinate. Dear God, several times you are giving us opportunity to encourage and convince our Boss/ colleagues / neighbours / relatives / friends / members in church and society. We have very good rapport with several men/women in church and society, but we never proclaimed you as a God who is the creator / healer/sustainer / and the hope giver. We are mere spectators. Am ready O master, make me as hope giver, make me as an encourager, help me to convince people and utilise every opportunity to speak about you. Naaman was a Semitic but transformed to The Truth (2 Kings 5:15). If we act on behalf of you will react to us and bless us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Shiphrah and Puah thank you for your unfailing Love, Mercy and Grace. When we are in your plan, nothing can stop us to attain our positions predestined by you. In your scriptures we learned about Shiphrah and Puah were midwives under Pharaoh in Egypt. We learnt about them as the pioneers of CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE MOVEMENT (Exo 1: 17). Thank you for their courage and creative way of answering Pharaoh - Exodus 1: 19. Their Act of courage is just because of "Fear of God." Give us the same FEAR, to Act courageously in our everyday life. If we see this narrative through feminist lens, they were the SPIRITUAL MOTHERS. They nourished, they fed, and bought new borns out of grave. They utilised the opportunity to act as spiritual mothers through their spirituality. We see spiritual strength in Shiphrah and Puah. Several times we failed to nurture our neighbours, colleagues, friends, relatives, church mates and in society, spiritually. We make promise in church that we will help little children to grow spiritually but we concentrated on our own children and neglected neighbours children. O God , give us the opportunity one more time to act as spiritual parents to nurture children / people to strengthen them. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Benaiah. Your Word says "The Lord will make you the head and not the tail you shall be only at the top and not at the bottom if you obey commandments of the Lord" (Deut 28:13). Bible recorded Benaiah as a son of Priest (I Chr 1:8) valiant warrior, mighty man, renowned among thirty men and King David’s insider (I Sam 23:20-23). Though he was from priestly family, valour and David's one of the most trusted men, he was not given top position among the three people (2 Sam 23:23). Interestingly HE DID NOT GIVE UP AND SET HIS EYES ON THE WORD (TOP AND NOT AT THE BOTTOM) and continued to serve Solomon (2md Generation) son of David (I Kings 2:25). At last you made him a commander over Army (I kings 2:35). What an awesome God you are!!! I pray that people who are praying this prayer should never give up on your promise and set their eyes on the promises. I decree supernatural favour come on everybody right now and supernatural blessings come upon everybody. Thank you for speaking to us through Benaiah who often side-lined in our preachings. O God of King David. Thank you for yet another breath in our life in this fresh day. Thank you for your continuous guidance and instructions. Your Word says in Psalm 119:105 "YOUR WORD IS A LAMP TO MY FEET AND A LIGHT TO MY PATH." David fled to the land of Philistines due to the fear of King Saul and lived in that foreign land for one year and four months (1 Sam 27:1-7).

David was young during his exilic period. He might fall in sin/ persecution by foreigners/affliction/addiction/shame/suffering/blame/rejection/wickedness/idoatry /dualism/oppression/greed and so on... but in His heart he made a bold affirmation by writing Psalm 119:11 "I treasure your Word in my heart so that I may not sin against you. (In this context, during his exilic period in the land of philistines he penned this verse in Psalm 119). As a humans we are prone to sin o master. Help us to hide your Word in our heart which will overcome sin. Your Word says in Jeremiah 17:9 "the heart is devious above all." But when we treasure your Word in our heart, it will tame our heart to go in a straight way without any deviations and diversions. Your Word will guide each and every step in our life. Help us to give much importance to your Word which will lead us to eternity. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

O God of Asa. Once again we come to your throne of Grace with thanks giving. Thank you for giving us peace and rest in our families and in society. Your Word says "apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5b). We remember king Asa who was a physician and ruled Judah for 41 yrs (2 Chr 16:13). Thank you for his life, who was zealous in worshipping you and in uprooting idolatry from his land (2 Chr 14:2-5). When an Ethiopian Zerah (Egyptian successor) came against him with one million army (largest Army mentioned in scripture) Asa prayed and cried to you for deliverance and you gave him victory (2 Chr 14:9-15). Thank you for speaking to us O master. Some times in our life it seems like the world is against us, but you always stand on our behalf and deliver. Again when the king Baasha went up against Judah, Asa did not relied on you, but relied on Syrian king (2 Chr 16:2-4) and even in his disease (gout, degenerative osteoarthritis) he relied on physicians but not on you( 2 Chr 16:11,12). Today you are teaching us something from the life of Asa. He didn't bother the warning of the seer Hanani. King David was warned by Nathan and he repented but not by Asa. We confess that many a time we are not depending on you fully, being aware of your past deeds. We also confess we are not giving ear to your admonition. We are sorry O God for not obeying your admonition. Help us to obey your admonition and make us to depend on you in all our future endeavours. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of Jephthah, You Word says "He raises up the poor from the dust, he lifts the needy from the ash heap, to make them sit with princes and inherit a seat of honour (I Sam 2:8). We bless your name O God, we lift your name high. Throughout the biblical history you raised people from bondages and filled them with your spirit. We see two mighty warriors in the bible filled with your spirit and one between them is Jephthah (Judges 11:29- NRSV). Jephthah was rejected by his near and dear (Judges 11:2), but according to your promise you raised him up and made him HEAD AND COMMANDER in the same place and among the same people (Judges 11:11). What an awesome God you are. Dear God, in our lives we are been rejected by church/society /people/ siblings /relatives /neighbours/ colleagues/ at work place /in business / in relationships but your spirit will lift us in the same place and among the same people. So, dear God fill us with your Spirit and make us to lift our head because we are your sons and daughters. With the spirit of God, Jephthah won the battle. In your name we decree battles be won in our spiritual affairs /relationships / health / families /finances and so on... I am a victor and not looser. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

O God of David, you are the greatest counsellor. Your Word says "Lord does not see as mortals see" (1 Sam 16:7). We as human beings see outward appearance but you O God always looks the heart. We acknowledge the importance of HEART and SPIRIT in your scriptures. This time O God, as we meditate scripture, speak to our hearts. When Saul have not kept the commandment (1 Sam 13:8-13) you have taken away His kingdom and gave it to David (1 Sam 13: 14). Then we see in 1 Sam 16:13 "The spirit of the Lord came mightily upon David." Thank you Lord for showing us the seriousness about keeping your commandment. Though David know that the spirit of God was with him (1 Sam 18:12) he failed to acknowledge your spirit and said in his heart "I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul" (1 Sam 27:1). Though David failed in acknowledging your spirit, you did not let him down but made him as King David. When you promise, those promises will come to pass. May be, we have forgotten your promises received till now. Help us master to cling on to your Word and give us patience to receive your blessings as the Word says "if it seems to tarry, wait for it; it will surely come, it will not delay." (Habakkuk 2:3). Like King David several times we failed to pronounce your blessing /promise in our heart and we doubted your power. Now, in the name of Jesus we speak promises and blessings come to pass. We take miracles from your hand. Because you said so. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

O God of Naomi, You are the God of sustenance, providence, all sufficient and bountiful. We thank you for the divine provision. You gave us air to breath, food to eat and water to drink and above all you covered us under your blood. You always love us unconditionally and with a specific plan and purpose, but several times we failed to exhort you among our fellow human beings. Naomi, the wife of Elimelech from the tribe of Judah failed to exhort you, couldn't understand your plan behind famine and showed her bitterness towards you by accusing (Ruth 1:20, 21). She showed her other side of the coin during the time of affliction though she knew Pentateuch (Torah/law). One side she was saying "Almighty has dealt bitterly." (Ruth 1:20 b) where almighty in Hebrew is el-shaddai means: nourish, satisfy and supply and on the other side she was accusing you with words like bitterly, empty, harshly and calamity. O God many a time during the time of trials and tribulations, we are forgetting our blessings, your deeds, your favour, your deliverance, you’re healing and we are showing the other side of the coin with accusing behaviour. Help us O God to understand the cosmic purpose of our trials and tribulations. Help us not to accuse you for our fortunes and fate. Make me to surrender to your discipline, because the bible says in Rom 8:28 "all things work together for good." In Jesus name we humbly pray. Amen.
